Anthony Frank doesn't understand why people hunt so he is against it not only for himself, but ready to impose his views upon you for his ignorance? Unfortunately his views would harm the animals he would profess to protect. Hunting is a highly regulated activity and the take of animals is based upon the science of carrying capacity and maintaining sustainable populations of animals. In many instances the meat of the animals is mandated to be donated to the villages where the animal is from. The fees and costs of those who participate pay for game wardens and biologists who then protect these animals from poachers and habitat loss. And I'll put a dime against a dollar that he enjoyed his Thanksgiving turkey, more so since he turned a blind eye to its killing.

With respect to the desire of state legislatures for a pay raise I offer the following observation: Since there is no shortage of people who want to be legislatures the pay is sufficient to attract those who wish to use their part time job to enhance their “parl time “ thus they cannot be said to be under payed. Indeed since they wish to deprive their constituents of meaningful votes via state mandates on local budgets it is clear that we are served by the morally impaired. I suggest that the solution to the pay raise problem is to require that retires be collecting social security. This approach confine the job of legislature to those who would be happy to serve their constitutes and receive such a generous pay for part time work.
