Schenectady man accused of third burglary

Another burglary charge has been filed against the man accused of breaking into Schenectady High School last month, authorities said.

Matthew J. Hawkins, 28, of Schenectady, faces second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny counts, both felonies, in connection with a Nov. 15 break-in at a Victory Avenue residence, according to court documents.

Hawkins is accused of taking electronics from the residence just after 9:30 that evening.
